If you want an easy way to dress your dog up a bit and get them ready for holiday photos or fun outings, a no-sew bandana is a fantastic option. This is an easy project that doesn't require any seamstress capabilities.
DIY Bandana
You'll need: Fabric scraps (at least 14 x 14 inches), scissors, iron, hemming tape from a local craft store, and a dog collar - Draw the outline for your bandana on the inside side of the fabric.
- Cut out two pieces. Keep them as close in size and shape as possible.
- Get each piece of fabric and fold in the edges about ½ inch and iron to hold the shape.
- Apply the hemming tape to one piece over the newly folded edges. Place the second piece of fabric on top and iron it into place.
- Grab the collar and fold the excess material at the top once to form a loop. Place hemming tape across the bandana to secure and iron the loop.
- You're all set to try it on the pup.
