Frisbee Rob Makes the 2024 Guinness World Record Book
Frisbee Rob Mcleod and his two canine teammates, Davy Whippet and Sailor, are no strangers to setting world records. In 2012 and 2021, they set the world record for the farthest flying disc throw caught by a dog and the farthest mini-flying disc throw caught by a dog. Plus, their names are on another 12 records.

The 2024 Guinness World Record Book has noticed and features them among this year's 2,638 records. Davy and Rob have been a stellar team since their very first meeting when they broke a tournament record. Sadly, Davy passed away in 2018, and Sailor has become his new teammate. We can't wait to see what records they break next!

Do Dogs Boost Your Mood?
The companionship of dogs has a remarkable impact on one's mood, offering a plethora of emotional and mental health benefits. Interacting with dogs has been shown to release oxytocin, the "feel-good" hormone, reducing stress and promoting a sense of well-being.

The unconditional love and loyalty they provide create a deep emotional bond, alleviating feelings of loneliness and fostering a sense of purpose.

Moreover, the playful and energetic nature of dogs can encourage physical activity, contributing to improved overall health. The simple act of petting a dog has a calming effect, reducing anxiety and lowering blood pressure. Whether through their joyful antics or the soothing comfort they offer, dogs have an extraordinary ability to lift spirits and bring joy into the lives of their human companions.

However, as loving and amazing as our dogs can be, sometimes when we get stuck in a rut, it can be difficult to get back to ourselves again.

If you're not feeling like yourself lately, it might be time to talk to a therapist. Studies show that therapy can help with everything from anxiety and depression to stress and relationship issues. Talkspace makes getting help easy and convenient. With live chat, video, and audio sessions, you can easily fit mental health care into your lifestyle. Disney Villains as Dog Breeds
Of course, no one thinks that dogs could ever really be villains, but it's always fun to match dog breeds with different characters based on their characteristics. This writer made some decisions about Disney cartoon villains and which breed would best fit that role. Grab some popcorn and see if you agree with the pairings.
  • Jafar from Aladdin as a Boston Terrier - Jafar has animated eyes, similar to Boston Terriers. A staring contest would be tough between these two.
  • Hans from Frozen as a Golden Retriever - Hans is deceptive but has a killer jawline and lush locks. This golden boy would be perfectly matched with a Golden Retriever.
  • Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty as a Doberman Pinscher - Those horns on Maleficent's head and her stunning black coat look a bit similar to the Dobermans. The fierce personality is a good match as well.
  • Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians as a Japanese Chin - Obviously, she cannot be compared to a Dalmatian. The Japanese Chin rocks the same black and white hairdo as Cruella, plus they're smart and alert.
  • Captain Hook from Peter Pan as an English Cocker Spaniel - This regal dog matches well with the gentlemen's villain, Cpt Hook, who has well-groomed curls and a dapper wardrobe. Plus, these spaniels love adventure.
  • Scar from Lion King as a German Wirehaired Pointer - Scar has some chin hair that looks like the snout of this breed. Plus, these pups love hunting, hiking, and a good competition like Scar.
  • Lady Tremaine from Cinderella as a Poodle - The hairdo on this wicked stepmother resembles a Poodle. They both find the finest groomer in town.
  • Shan Yu from Mulan as an Alaskan Malamute - Both are strong in the snow and could survive an avalanche.
  • Mother Gothel from Tangled as a Chihuahua - This feisty little dog breed continues looking like a young pup well into their older years, similar to this evil witch.
