Cody is a three-year-old Maltipoo with some severe mobility issues. His vet suspects he has a degenerative disease called cerebellar abiotrophy, which impacts the part of the brain that controls muscular activity. He had difficulty standing, walking, and going to the bathroom. Thankfully, his mom, Cecilia Liu, found a doggy daycare and boarding place that was willing and prepared to take care of him when she needed an extra hand.

A few puppy training experts put together this full guide with everything you need to know: - Bond with your pup. Give your new animal around a week to bond with you and acclimate. Spend a lot of time petting and holding your puppy. Most puppies are used to being around their littermates, so having contact with you will help them bond quickly.
- Start socializing. Up to 16 weeks, the puppy is developing their personality, so it's important to socialize them early on. Expose them to new people, dogs, and places. Get them out to see the world.
