🐕 Vet confirms this dog has a sense of humor

"You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give you a look that says, 'Wow, you're right! I never would've thought of that!'"
- Dave Barry

Happy Monday! Here's the scoop:
Did You Know...?
Joke: What do you call a dog that paints masterpieces?

(scroll to the bottom to find the answer!)
Leo Concerned Owner With His Funny Faces
Leo is a two-year-old dog with a funny sense of humor. He loves squishing his nose up against the glass and other hard surfaces. It happened so often that his owner was a bit concerned and made an appointment with the vet. After hundreds of dollars of vet bills, they were sure that his habit was not a symptom of brain damage. Instead, the dog is just a goofball.

Christine Holierhoek adopted him from a farm as a young puppy. He brought her so much joy and helped her get outside more often to take him on walks and care for him. She didn't know just how much he would make her laugh. Who knew that dogs had that good of a personality?

Dog Breeds With The Most Unique Facial Expressions
If the story of Leo makes you want a silly little pup yourself, consider one of these breeds that are known for their unique facial expressions. These dogs are known for being able to express their emotions and moods using their adorable faces. You won't be able to get enough of their expressive demeanors.
  1. Bulldogs - These dogs have wrinkled faces and a pushed-in nose, which makes them appear a bit grumpy. Don't worry, they are typically loving and gentle personalities.
  2. Pug - Another wrinkly-faced breed, pugs have wide, highly expressive eyes. Their heads tilt when they are listening, and they give off a look of curiosity.
  3. Boxer - This larger breed has a unique facial structure and strong jawline. Using their eyes and ears, they can show you a wide range of emotions.
  4. Shar Pei - This breed's large, round eyes peek out from beneath the massive wrinkles on their face. They have small triangle ears that stick out from the top of their heads. It's kind of hard to tell what they're thinking beneath all those folds, but they have the cutest faces.
  5. Saint Bernard - It's hard to miss the drooling jowls on this dog. With their long, floppy ears and the shape of their face, they look concerned and empathetic most of the time. It's a great look for a rescue dog.
  6. Basset Hound - It's all in the eyes of these hounds. They look sad most of the time, and that's only accentuated by their loose, hanging skin. Usually, their face completely contradicts their friendly personalities.
  7. Bloodhound - This hound has a sad look similar to that of the Basset Hound. They also have a bunch of wrinkles on their face, but it helps them with their scent work.
  8. French Bulldog - This popular breed has a very alert look thanks to their bat-like ears and wide eyes. Their ears can move and open wide or fold back, which changes their facial expressions greatly.
  9. Samoyed - These pups are well-known for their smiles. Their mouths turn up at the corners making them look extra friendly. With fluffy white coats, this breed is just asking for attention.
  10. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - This dog is extremely popular thanks to their "puppy dog eyes." With soft features, these pups look so sweet and affectionate.

DOTD - Meet Penny
Penny is ready for green grass again this spring. She loves rolling in the yard and being outside. When she isn't enjoying the fresh air, she looks for belly rubs and her favorite snacks, green beans and chicken. While Penny is a mommy's girl most of all, she loves her dad and grandma, too!
