The Most Beautiful Memorial for a Dog
It's hard to find ways to memorialize a dog in a way that fits how big of a role they play in our lives. This story is incredibly heartwarming as this owner, Shari, found a way to remind herself of Max multiple times daily.

Max had a favorite step on the stairs, where his owner often noticed him napping. He laid there so much that the paint started to wear off. Even on his last day, he laid his head on her lap while laying on that exact spot. So when the time came to repaint the stairs, she came up with the most beautiful tribute to preserve that special spot, and you have to see it. Just make sure you have a Kleenex ready when you watch this video.

This family will forever think of Max when they go up and down their stairs, and his memory will live on.
Dogs are Just Another Part of the Family
There is a split in the United States. On one side are people who don't understand why people say that their pets are members of their family, and then on the other side are the pet owners who don't understand how their animals wouldn't be considered one of them.

If you call yourself a parent to your canine child, you are not alone. People are spending more and more on caring for the animals in their families. In 2022, Americans spent over $130 billion on pet care, including less mainstream treatments like acupuncture and massage therapy. That number is up 11% in just one year.

Many pet owners face others in life who struggle to understand the bond and love that their pets provide them. But you are not alone. 51% of pet owners consider their pets to be as much a part of their family as any human family member. If you put a lot of energy and care into your bond with your dog, it's just because you value the relationship that you have, and it's a pretty common thing among pet owners.
Tips and Tricks to Check Your Pet for Fleas and Ticks
Ticks, tiny yet dangerous to pets, go through several stages in their lifecycle. Adult female ticks lay 2,000-5,000 eggs, hatching within weeks. Larvae feed on our pets for a week before developing into nymphs, which then seek out blood. Most ticks are noticed when engorged with blood. As adults, ticks find prey from tall grasses, significantly increasing in size after feeding. A crucial point for pet owners is how quickly ticks can transmit diseases. Within 10 minutes, pets can be infected with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. After 36-48 hours attached, Lyme disease risk increases.
Preventing tick infestations is essential for pet health. A monthly prevention plan with PetArmor Plus can safeguard your pets without being time-consuming. One application of PetArmor Plus lasts up to 30 days, nose to tail. A 6-dose package lasts six months. Remember, early protection is key to stopping ticks from harming your pets. Stay vigilant and ensure your pets are protected year-round.
