Dog Snuck Out for a Concert
Storm is a dog that lives near SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Metallica recently performed two shows at the stadium, and the Sunday show just so happened to have a guest rocking out that didn't have a ticket. Storm snuck out of her house and somehow got herself into the show! She found a seat, sat down, and enjoyed the show. After the concert, she was turned into a shelter before being reunited with her owner.

The band even tweeted about it. Dogs shouldn't be at a rock show with loud music and big crowds, but Storm definitely had a night to remember. Now her owners know she's a Metallica fan and might be more inclined to let her listen!

Do(g)-It-Yourself Vintage Suitcase Dog Bed
If you love traveling, you can bring that theme into your home. Dog beds don't have to be a cushion on the ground. You can make a bed from a vintage suitcase and add it to your home decor.

Suitcase Bed
You'll need: vintage plastic, metal, fiberglass or wooden suitcase, four furniture legs, screwdriver, drill, tape measure, pliers, market, lag bolt, washer, cushion, notepad.
  1. Loosen the top using a screwdriver or drill. Remove the top. You can keep this piece for an additional dog bed.
  2. Measure the interior and note the width, length, and height.
  3. Place the legs on the bottom of the suitcase and trace the outlines. Mark the center points of the legs. Drill a hole in suitcase bottom.
  4. Attach the furniture legs to the bottom of the suitcase using lag bolts. Use a washer to keep it in place.
  5. Find a cushion that is just slightly larger than the dimensions of the inside of the suitcase, and add it to finish the bed.

How to Keep Your Pet Entertained When You Aren't Home
We aren't always able to be home with our pets. Dogs are pack animals, so they enjoy being around others, but if you have to leave for work or activities that aren't dog-friendly, there are ways to keep them stimulated and entertained when they're home alone. The obvious tasks include making sure they have enough food and water for the day, they've gotten some exercise, and are able to go to the bathroom. In addition, try these ideas to help make the alone time go well for them.
  • Make a safe space. Keep your dog in a spot that is safe and doesn't have anything dangerous for them to get into. Block off a spot with their toys and a place where they can be comfortable for the day.
  • Fill a toy with frozen traits. Kongs are great options to fill with a favorite snack and then freeze to make it last longer and take more energy.
  • Secure the entertainment. Great options are available on YouTube and other TV networks if you want to keep some noise on for your day during the dog. Some studies show that this keeps dogs calm.
  • Add window entertainment. You can add a birdhouse just outside the window to give something your pup something to look at.
  • Rotate some brain game toys. Treat-dispensing and puzzle toys are great for wearing out pups and fighting boredom. It gets them to hunt and forage.
  • Lay out a snuffle mat or scratcher bed. Sniff mats come in all kinds of shapes and patterns. Sprinkle food and snacks in the crevices of the mat and let the dog use their nose to find them.
  • Tap into the thrill of the chase. Pick up an electronic toy that can be paired with your phone and move it around on an app. Your dog will love having something to play with.
