Dog Receives a Special Mercedes
Bunny is a dog who was rescued from Mexico by The Animal Pad in San Diego. She is two years old and was found in rough condition by the rescue. Her face was swollen from bites, she was covered in ticks and maggots, and her hind legs weren't working after being hit by a car.

The rescue picked her up and got her to the United States. She underwent surgery to amputate her back legs and help get her back to 100% health. Henry Friedman was the rescuer in charge of caring for her. They shared her recovery process, and one Instagram user commented, "This dog deserves the Mercedes Benz of wheelchairs."

Friedman thought that was a brilliant idea and reached out to Mercedes with pictures and Bunny's story. They loved the story and agreed to hook Bunny up with a custom wheelchair. She was even welcomed to visit the company's office with her new wheels, Bunny's Benz!

Tricks to Remove Tear Stains on Dogs
Dogs with light-colored coats often have tear stains under their eyes. They appear as brown or reddish-brown streaks under the eyes and are caused by shallow tear ducts, certain foods, facial folds, and allergies. It's common with breeds like Cocker Spaniels, English bulldogs, Chihuahuas, and Poodles, to name a few.

Here are the best ways to remove the tear stains:
  • Regular cleaning. Clean your dog's face on a regular basis using a soft, damp cloth.
  • Eye care. Check your dog's eyes, and if you notice redness or irritation, call your vet and schedule a visit.
  • Trim facial hair. Keep the hair under your pup's eyes shorter.
  • Provide filtered, clean water. Hydration is critical for many reasons. It can help dilute the tear fluid and reduce the intensity of tear stains.
  • Adjust the dog's diet. Common culprits include foods with artificial coloring, soy, wheat, or corn. Switching up the food may help reduce tear stains.
  • Use the products designed for tear stain removal. There are wipes, powders, chews, liquids, and more.
Tear stains can sometimes be a symptom of an underlying medical condition. If it's persistent or accompanied by other symptoms, consult your veterinarian. They may suggest eye drops.

Three Ways to Help Your Dog Lose Weight
Physical activity is important for a dog's health. Dogs with a healthy weight are at a lower risk for heart disease, diabetes, and joint problems. If your dog is overweight, consult with your veterinarian to form a plan for your pup.

There are also three ways that you can help your dog lose a few pounds and get to a healthier weight.
  1. Exercise and play. Learn more about your dog's specific breed and develop an exercise routine that works. Some dogs aren't able to cover long distances or play for too long at one time. Start with short walks and a few minutes of playtime, and work it up a bit as they get accustomed to the routine.
  2. Cut back on table scraps and treats. Human food is not great for a dog's diet. Don't add any needless calories to your dog's diet. Treats are easy to overindulge in, so make sure they don't make up more than 10% of their daily calories.
  3. Choose an appropriate diet for your dog's specific needs. Tailor your dog's diet to their size and breed. Pick a quality brand and take your dog's individual needs into account.
