Toy Story: Rescue Dog Version
Miso the Meatball posted a Halloween photo on Instagram of a big chunk of the Toy Story cast. The Mr. Potato Head costume was fantastically made. Buzz Lightyear and Woody made an appearance as well in the group shot. If you're looking for a great costume idea for your dog, maybe this can offer some great inspiration!

Is Cannabis The Secret To Sleeping Like A Dog?
Adequate and quality sleep is fundamental for maintaining overall well-being by impacting cognitive function, emotional stability, and physical health. It also plays a pivotal role in memory consolidation, learning, and mood regulation.

Cannabis, owing to its components like THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol), has been observed to have sedative properties that can potentially facilitate a more relaxed state conducive to better sleep. These compounds may help alleviate symptoms of insomnia and promote a more restful sleep for some individuals.

We've discovered the ultimate relaxation experience with Mood's Sleepytime Delta-9 THC Gummies. Just one tasty, vegan gummy blends THC and CBD to help you peacefully drift off and wake up refreshed—without drowsiness.

Their expertly crafted blend of Delta-9 THC, CBD, CBN, and a touch of melatonin ensures your deepest, most restful sleep. Say goodbye to tossing and turning and hello to rejuvenating rest.

Training Your Dog to "Come"
One of the most useful commands for dogs is "come." When you're doing any training, positive reinforcement and praise are important. In the beginning, you'll want to reward your puppy's first step towards you and the entire time they approach you. As time passes, you'll only give them treats when they've reached out after the command.

Puppies may rebel during training. They may get within an arm's length and then take off to play with you. Avoid using the command to punish your dog for other behavior because it will associate it with negative moments. If you need to confine your dog, use a "place" command instead to send them to their crate or bed.

Remember to use treats to help your dog learn the word "come," and practice often to help it sink in. Recall is one of the most important things for your dog to learn in order to stay safe.

Halloween Candy and Dogs Do Not Mix
Calls to the Pet Poison Hotline increase 12% each year during the week of Halloween. There are many dangerous ingredients in candy for dogs; if they get any in their bellies, it can cause severe health issues. It's important to do everything you can to keep candy away from your dog, but accidents happen, and if your dog gets into any, there are a few things you need to know.

First, find out what your dog ate. This can help determine what care your dog needs. The four different kinds of chocolate have different amounts of theobromine. To determine the toxicity level, you need to know the amount of chocolate x amount of theobromine/weight of dog = toxicity level.

You should also know the signs of poisoning in a dog. Watch for vomiting, panting, diarrhea, agitation, increased thirst, and in severe cases, seizures. Communicate the symptoms to your vet to help get your dog help.

Even if there is no chocolate consumed, it can still be unhealthy. Large amounts of sugar and fat can lead to pancreatitis. Xylitol is also in some candies and is extremely toxic to dogs. Avoiding any type of candy is the best option. Give them lots of exercise around Halloween, making them less interested in sniffing around.
