Costume Ideas for Your Pup and You
If you love dressing up for Halloween, why not consider a costume with your dog this year? Include your significant other or dress up the whole family in a themed costume. This list has a ton of options. One of our favorites is the Dog Mom Barbie and Dog Dad Ken.

The creator used cardboard boxes, a template, and some simple online design skills to create the Barbie boxes. These simple costumes are perfect for this year thanks to the massive success of Barbie at the box office. It's also a great option if your dog doesn't really like the idea of wearing clothes or accessories because you can just hold them like the picture. Have fun choosing your costumes this year.

Paw-sitive Benefits: Why Collagen Is Crucial
Collagen, the most abundant protein in our bodies, is like the glue that holds us together, providing structure to our skin, bones, muscles, and tendons. Known for its anti-aging properties, it helps maintain the elasticity and firmness of our skin, making it a popular choice in many beauty products.

Additionally, collagen is essential for joint health, promoting flexibility and reducing stiffness, allowing us to keep up with our energetic pups during their playful moments. Incorporating collagen into our diet not only supports our overall health but also helps us maintain the vitality needed to enjoy every moment with our furry companions!

One of our favorite ways to incorporate more collagen into our diet is NativePath. NativePath's Certified Grass-Fed Collagen Powder is made from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows and contains 18 grams of protein per serving. Start incorporating it daily to support skin elasticity, joint health, bone strength, and muscle growth and maintenance.

Paw Pad Health and Care Tips
Paws are critical for dogs, and they are often overlooked. Burns on the paw pads can be extremely painful, but we've got some tips on how to treat these burns and prevent them to keep your dog's feet healthy and happy.

Signs and symptoms to watch for include redness or discoloration on the pads, swelling or blisters on the pads, limping or reluctance to walk, and whining or licking paws excessively.

If you spot any of these signs, take first aid measures. Cleanse the paws gently using a pet-safe cleanser. Soak them in cool water for five to ten minutes and dry softly with a towel. If you can get a look at them and see any signs of damage, contact the vet immediately to come up with a treatment plan.

To prevent these burns, follow a few simple tips. Avoid hot surfaces when out on a walk. If it's too hot for your skin, it's too hot for the dog's paw pads. Use protective dog booties to help on hot surfaces (or cold.) Stick to early morning or evening walks to avoid the hottest part of the day.
