| | Blind Puppy Abandoned in Hurricane Milton Adopted | A blind puppy was found abandoned and tied to a pole in the midst of Hurricane Milton. It's hard to imagine such a vulnerable pup in this position, but thankfully, the amazing team at Linus & Friends put on their superhero capes and came to her rescue. | Linus & Friends, a nonprofit animal rescue group based in New York City and Central Florida, shared Ginger Spice's (what a name!) story on TikTok and captured the hearts of thousands. | When Ginger Spice was rescued, she was described as "skinny, sick, and pleading for help." A spokesperson for Linus & Friends shared that she seems to have been born blind. While the person who abandoned her may not have seen her worth, everyone at the rescue—and all of us reading her story—certainly do. | The rescue provided her with medical care and placed her in a loving foster home until Ginger Spice was quickly adopted by a family in upstate New York. Her new parents even have experience caring for blind pit bulls — it sounds like she's found just the place she belongs. |
